About the Farmland Feast
FRESHFARM Markets' Farmland Feast is a celebration of local foods, farmers and farmland. It is a platform for simultaneously bringing local farmers and their products into the kitchens of the best Washington, DC, restaurants and exposing local chefs to the pleasures of choosing seasonal and local foods.
The Farmland Feast also connects diners to the place where their food has been grown and creates awareness of the skills required to create such high-quality food.
The seasonal 4-course dinner is prepared by some of the most outstanding chefs in the region and has sold out every year.
Since 2003, the event has become a prominent part of the local-food and Slow Food movements, attracting more than 250 dedicated diners and local and national media attention from Food Arts, Washingtonian magazine, DC Style and Fox News.
